Using just a hand saw, we can cut the carbon fibre rod.
Repeat channel on the opposite side of the neck
Cut and fit rod to suit.
As I machined the board away, I prep a new fretboard up.
Jig and fit board in place
Fit new fretboard, or if you removed the old one, refit it.
Fit fret Markers if required
Add some frets if required.
Clean the dust away.
I slide the carbon fibre rod up to the nut end and texta mark the cut point needed.
Press the rod into place.
Fret level and setup with new strings
Job done
.1mm passes until we are at height.
