Re-fit the inlays onto the surface and ensure you have them in the ideal positions

Using a pen, trace around the inlay for a visual reference

Having penned the line continue down the board

Do this for the whole board

With a sharp chisel remove the waste area, chisel away until the inlay sits nice and flush

Mix up some araldite on a scrap piece of wood
