With some cross ply laminate, we fabricate an inner ring out of wood.
Apply glue on the underside of the soundboard
Fit in place our new inner ring
With some clamps allow dry for 24hrs.
After 24hrs, remove clamps and re-assess the damage
I am going to steam out the wood in the front area.
Work the area as much as needed
I re-apply some titebond glue
Cut to shape
Test fit our cut out internally
Like so
Clamp and allow to dry for 24hrs
Remove our template
We now focus on the rear damage
With some spruce we patch the hole.
