Down the neck
To the bridge, they should be evenly spaced of the edge of the guitar neck..
Clamp and glue for 24hrs.
After 24hrs, we remove our masking tape and discard the old fretboard.
Pencil mark the neck for sanding
220 grit paper on a flat beam.
Flat sand until all the marks are gone.
Again titebond glue
I quickly fit the old fretboard to the neck with masking tape for help with alignment to the bridge
Two strings over the nut
Over the top.
We fit our freshly made ebony fretboard.
Press and test fit home
Clamp and dry for 24hrs.
Remove clamps, clean up glue squeeze out.
