After 24hrs, remove all the clamps.
Sand smooth all the damaged areas of the neck.
Hold and glue the nut into place.
String the guitar back up and leave 24hrs

Clamp the break up nice and tight, remove any glue squeeze out with a wet rag.
Store and allow to sit 24hrs.
Lightly sand the fretboard clean of any glue.

After 24hrs, complete the refinishing work.
