One straight fretboard, you may have to re-pencil the board a few times
Using a curved block which matches the fretboard, we again fit some sandpaper to it.
Shape the board until all the pencil marks have been removed.
One straight and reshaped fretboard.
With all the levelling and shaping done,we again let the guitar sit for 24hrs before doing any more work
Using a nice flat bar with some sandpaper attached (I like 220 grit)
We sand and level the fretboard until all pencil marks have been removed.
Now re-pencil the board again, its straight but not shaped.
We need to get the neck sanded straight, so first step is to mark the board with a pencil.
THis is a different guitar being defretted and prepped, this one for reference we have removed the pickup so its does not get scratched.
