Guitars get dropped, one of the issues with this is a hole can get punched into the sides at the further most point inside the guitar.
This guitar has taken a fall and has punched a nice hole through the side, as it is in a difficult location we approach the repair differently to some of our other crack repairs
Time to repair approx 1.5 hrs over 3 days (glue drying times)
Up close, we can see a hole has been punched through the whole side, it is also at a location we cannot reach by hand or tools through the sound hole.
Feed the string through the hole
And draw one end out through the sound hole
I attach a rubber backed block and a lump of brass to terminate the string end.
Rap the string with a damp cloth.
And pull into place

With some titebond, we apply liberally into the hole

From afar, it does not look too bad.
We take a small 10 thou string
Feed the string through a machine head mounted on a spacer block
