Cleats glued in place, magnets retaining them in position.
Using a flat piece of steel, we scrape the outside joint to make sure its flush.
After scraping, follow up with a little bit of sanding with a flat block.

One perfectly flat and repaired surface,
Uisng shellac, we pore fill (seal the wood)

There is still a small void in the lacquer finish where the original crack ran, we are filling this void with super glue.

Using magnets, we are going to hold the cleats in place whilst the glue dries.
Simple titebond is sufficient.

Cut and shape the wood into thin strips, trial fit the lengths into the guitar.
