Using titebond glue, we apply glue to neck block, tail block and kerfing.
Now the top is fitted, we route the edge, this process trims the new top and also recess's the edge for the new binding in one go
Again the binding is laid up to match the original binding, using durobond cement we glue in place.
With some tape, we allow the binding to set for 24hrs.
After the binding glue has dried, we lightly scrape it flush to the surface with a razor blade.
Marking out and measuring from the 12 th fret, we locate the bridge and clamp and glue it in place with titebond glue

The fretboard extension is refitted, I like to drill and fit two small carbon fibre rods to strengthen this section.
Using titebond, we clamp the extension in place and allow 24 hrs drying time.
Fit a bridgeplate and top ready for fitment.
The top is lightly fitted with tape, any areas that wont allow a flush edge have the braces trimmed on the inside to allow snug fit.
Fit top, and clamp lightly in place, allow to dry for 24hrs.
Important part, we string the guitar back up.
