Back into the deck press, sitting on the 20ft radius caul
Then allow to dry for 24hrs.
To fit the back on, I need the neck and bridge to be in the correct string line, so I use a small jig I made, its nothing more complicated than a flat bar
Place guitar on jig
Clamp in place
With a lead pencil, I mark all my kerfing
Some 120 grit sandpaper onto the radius caul
Sand and shape the guitar back until all marks are removed
Using a T square, we align all our braces
Until we have a layed out back
We clamp / glue each brace individually checking they are square
Like so, smooth / clean 20ft radius
Then chisel the unwanted wood away.
Drop our freshly prepared back in place
Pencil trace the exposed border
