Like every other step, face of the posts get squared, I use permanent marker for reference
These two keys sit together between the first two posts, so only one key needs to be modified to tighten both up.

As the G key is also supported down at the lowest post as per my red cicrle, I do any key extensions to the G Key only and simply face the Body octave key hinge tube to make sure its square
A distance view of Body Octave and G key, all buffed and cleaned
With our hand made Reamer, I redrill the bushed posts
Posts bushed / faced / finished
Correctly drilled for the correct size Rod Screw
Face the post with a guide rod installed on my cutter
Before I do any key extensions to the B key, I face both Post contact points of the C key until they are flush against each support post at the same time
Lower section of the C key when faced now contacts the post
Polished and Buffed, ends squared

Finished Upper Stack B Flat key
Upper Stack assembly Finished
End Gap Exists
Upper section has been over faced to ensure both lower and upper sections of the key contact both posts at the same time

Finished Upper Stack C key
This was just loose on the Rod Screw originally, New oversize Rod screw fixed the key
Facing the end of the tube after lengthening this time with a sanding disc
P10
Screw can come through post a little bit more
When fitting the key back on, I can feel a little bit of side play, so the Pivot Screw is not fully engaging the rod
Lower support section of the C key, not touching the post at all
Upper Stack Body Octave Key and G Key

Hinge tube G Key was lengthened and tightened as per Repair 7

Finished Body Octave and G Key
Upper Stack C and B Keys
These two keys sit together between two posts, so only one key needs to be modified to tighten both up.

The red circles indicate the gaps that exist

As the C key is also supported down at the lowest post, I do any key extensions to the B Key only
As the B and C keys sit together between a pair of posts, extending the B key removes all the gap between the posts

B Hinge tube was lengthened and tightened as per Repair 7

Finished Upper stack B
Upper Stack B flat Key
High E
Key is a solid tube and is lengthened as per Repair 2
