Leave for two to three days to really dry out, then apply one nice solid coat
24hrs later apply two solid coats, 30 minutes apart
24hrs later again, 3 solid coats, 30 minutes apart.
Allow it to dry for a couple of days, ideally a weekend is perfect.
Flat sand with 1000 grit wet and dry and some dishwashing liquid
Allow the surface to dry for a day.
Some small buffing over the finish, try not to get it to hot.
Assemble machine heads
After 24 hrs apply two mist coats, 30 minutes apart.
After 24hrs apply three mist coats all 30 minutes apart.
24 hrs later apply another solid coat
After 24hrs, apply another mist coat
Allow the buffed surface to dry for about an hr. (Heat)
Assemble Machine head ferrules, Nut, Truss rod cover,
Hand Polish and new strings
Job Done
