We drill into the body and clear the hole a couple of times as we are drilling.

Using some soap, we touch the threads of the screw onto the soap for lubrication..

Tape is located at the depth needed as referenced of the assembled strap button.
The tape is attached like a windmill
When we get to height, the windmill tape will wipe the surface, this indicates we are done.
So we use a 2.6mm drill bit, you cannot go smaller or you risk cracking the guitar.
