HTS Saddle Insert Conversion 2

I use the original insert to trace my ends out

Weight of new assembly is 6.0 grams, which is a 1/4 of the original weight.

Remove saddle and glue lightly into place

Tap it down if required

Flat sand insert flush to its surrounds

Then we do some cosmetic glue filling with dust

Some oil and job finished

Fit saddle back in and pins in

Using a flat piece of sandpaper, we sand to fit

Once width is achieved, we do ends.

Back and forth with the sanding block until its a drop fit.
