Fitted.
Apply some pressure with out bridle to the base of the heel.
Insert the steam nozzle into each of the holes and apply steam for approximatley 5 mintues.
Using a left right motion, we wiggle and work the glue joint loose.
Keep working until it comes away
And then it finally releases, up and out it comes.
Once the wood has dried out, we clean any glue residue from the socket.
And the heel.
The nozzle is under 2mm in diameter.
We are also going to fit a bridle to the guitar, the bridles purpose is not to remove the neck but apply some pressure to the heel joint from underneath..
We attach our hose and steam nozzle to our coffee machine.
Set it aside and job finished
To remove the neck we need to steam the glue joint, this is simply a hose with a small nozzle attached..
