Using end nippers, snip any exposed fret ends off.
File the edges of the fret running the caul up and down the fretboard, roll the file out if you have any sharp edges.
One Guitar Fretted,

We need to smooth the fret ends out, attached is a link

We then do a Fret level and we are finished
Lightly tap the corners of the fret into place.
Repeat for the whole fretboard.
Now we just need to bevel the edges of the fret, to do this we use a file mounted into a caul at approx 30 degrees.

Using 220 grit, reclean the fretboard.
Work the fret into the board with gentle tapping.
Maple boards at completion need colour matching to replicate the original finish, I test my colour mix at the nut shelf area
Once happy with the colour, spray the whole neck frets and all then carry out setup.
