Until we have a cavity at the depths I marked out in my original sketch up.
This allows me to paint the cavity black as well.
Tape removed after paint drying.
We drill the post mounts to size.
Gently tap the posts home with a wood drift.
I like to also line the cavity with rubber, gives a neat look.
Again like so, simple contact cement for gluing.
Test fit of the Floyd unit.
Strap the guitar down, so it cannot move.
Slowly nibble away the edges
I trim the tape, not remove it with a razor blade
The pickguard also needs to be trimmed up.

The router is controlled by a hand wheel, in the X Y and Z axis's
Using the overhead router again, nibble it away.
