Remove the amount of measured element thickness from the bottom of the saddle, this is a jig that simplifies this job, the saddle is slightly protruding out of the jig which allows me to sand it flat.
After sanding the saddle to the required height, check the fit on top of the element in the bridge, you should visually see a lightly scribed mark from earlier pre - strip down.
The battery pouch is just velcro mounted, I find the lower forward bout to be an ideal spot for its location.
Now you have to remove the endpin and solder the wires from the element into place.
Refit the cover tube and fit back into the guitar.
Using some cable tidy's, clip the cables up so they do not rattle internally.
String her up and play....
Feed the pickup element into the hole.
