As the anchor is 10mm, we drill the hole with a 9.5mm bit.
The line we drew earlier, is now our alignement line for our drill bit to ensure we drill straight.
Lubricate the threads of the anchor with some soap.
Support the bridge in a vise and screw the anchor into place.
Both sides.
We can now wind in our threaded rod and attach our thumbwheel.
Again we repeat for both sides.
The foot anchor is just a brass sleeve, it measures 8mm wide.
Using our reference lines we drill a square central hole 8.1mm in diameter.
The threaded anchor that goes into the bridge is 9.98mm wide.
Mark the depth of the anchor externally as well, we want to make sure it will fit
Repeat both sides
Apply a couple of drops of superglue to the brass anchor.
Align the feet with the body, add another pair of lines that are square to the cut we made.
Push the insert home.
Attach both feet to the bridge.
Job finished.
