String the Banjo back up and test each position, raise or lower the spike subject to how hard it is to fit the string underneath and or if the spike sits too proud and creates a buzz.
Add some oil to the fingerboard and Job finished.
Tap it home with a small hammer and place a small piece of steel under the head so you dont hammer it all the way flat to the fretboard.
4 Spikes fitted.
Place the spike into place, making sure the head is facing the correct direction.
